The organisation aims to develop a strategy and plans across Sussex, leading to a major application for funding from the national church. The Bishops are the key leaders in the diocese, but the work of drawing the strategy together and presenting the case for funding falls to the Diocesan Secretary (effectively CEO of the support organisation based in Hove). The Executive Assistant plays a crucial role in creating additional capacity to support this effort.
You will coordinate and carry out projects and analysis, primarily working with team leaders and others in the diocesan office, as well as across the diocese. You will also provide some executive administrative support.
