More about the role:
We are seeking a highly organised and adaptable individual to provide top-tier support to the CEO and Group CFO on our Leadership Team. The person should have extensive previousEAexperience, preferably in a fast-paced and complex environment, with the ability to work independently. Experience of working for a similar, global technology focused organisation to WPP would be ideal. Key qualifications include strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels in a fast paced-paced, complex environment. Confidentiality, positivity, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Please note that this role is required to work from the office at a minimum 4-days a week.

What you'll do: Executive Support

  • Manage complex and dynamic calendars, proactively scheduling meetings and appointments (both internal and external) and ensuring the CEO and Group CFO are well-prepared with relevant information.
  • Prioritise and manage incoming communications, ensuring timely responses and escalating urgent matters to the CEO and Group CFO.
  • Arrange comprehensive domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries, visa processing, transportation, and catering arrangements

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, including head-hunters, industry peers, and senior client contacts, representing Burson with professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with senior management, acting as a trusted confidante and handling sensitive information with utmost discretion.
  • Liaise with the Global team and WPP on meetings involving the CEO and Group CFO

On-boarding & Events

  • Coordinate onboarding schedules for senior new hires, serving as their main point of contact and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Organise and coordinate company meetings and senior leadership meetings.
  • Support the logistics for client meetings and agency events, including managing invitations, coordinating meeting rooms and refreshments, and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Organise company social events, delegating tasks to the wider PA team as needed.
  • Partner with the Growth team to support new business and marketing opportunities involving the CEO.
  • Assist the Talent team with scheduling senior-level interviews.
  • Liaise with various support teams to address the needs of the business.

Administrative Support

  • Provide cover for the wider PA team as required.

Experience that will contribute to success:

  • Complete discretion when with dealing with confidential information.
  • Demonstrated experience - show a passion for the importance, know where we still have fun but need to be a little more formal at times.
  • Fast paced and proficient execution of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, communicating to all - regardless of position.
  • Enthusiastic and can-do approach to work.
  • Experience of working on social media would be advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Be able to work in the office at a minimum of 4 days a week.

OUR LONDON OFFICE Burson employs over 450 people in the UK, and our stunning Southwark offices run over two floors as part of the larger WPP Campus, Rose Court. We have access to a beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views across London and a bar/restaurant area, which is a great spot for client meetings and socialising with the wider agency and other WPP OpCo's.
