The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without knowing the total picture.

Responsibilities for this position include the ability to contribute to a global administrative support team, to think and plan ahead, delegate responsibilities appropriately, and manage time effectively.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars
  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements
  • Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on overdue items
  • Drive key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, supply ordering)
  • Manage group logistics
  • Extensive travel coordination (international and domestic)
  • Participate in planning of events
  • This position will work with other assistants throughout the GFS organization and across the rest of the company

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years work experience in a fast-paced, administrative capacity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detailed planning, time management and organizational skills

Key job responsibilities

  • Provide seamless support to Directors, facilitating the integration and prioritization of business activities
  • Arrangements for various team events
  • Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables and following up on overdue items
  • Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements in highly ambiguous environment
  • Make quick decisions in fast-paced executive administrative capacity
  • Build relationships with other assistants across Amazon

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • University or College diploma (or equivalent)
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Vision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Analytical skills and demonstrated ability to improve processes. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time. Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency.
  • High levels of integrity and discretion. Attention to detail, highly motivated, organized individual who is able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Meets / exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role. Prior project management experience
