Job description

We have a great opportunity to work within our higher education client based in Uxbridge.

Duration: ASAP until the end of January 2026

Pay: £18.57 per hour

Location: Uxbridge

Hours / days: Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm. First 2-3 weeks 100% campus based, then hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)

Job spec:

  • Executive Administrative Support: Providing a professional interface between the Executive Dean(s) and internal/external contacts, managing diaries, arranging meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, supporting committee work, coordinating travel, and managing correspondence.
  • Research, collate information, and support project management delegated by the Dean(s).
  • Manage HR and Finance tasks, including data entry and liaison with relevant departments, using systems like CHIME, SharePoint, and E-recruiter.
  • Support high-profile events such as away days, VIP visits, and graduation ceremonies.
  • Act as a key communication link within the university and externally, ensuring cover arrangements during absences and peak periods.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • University undergraduate degree or demonstrable transferable skills (analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, self-management).
  • Relevant experience supporting senior roles, including diary management, handling confidential information, servicing committees, and working in higher education or similar regulated environments.
