Job description

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT

Are you able to provide high-level executive support in a busy environment?

Do you have the flexibility to travel in the UK and abroad as required?

Would you like to work in a supportive team?

I am supporting a very successful, growing business in their search for an experienced EA to support the Managing Director and leadership team in managing day to day operations and strategic priorities. This is a key role within the organisation and you’ll need to be independent, organised, adaptable, and confident managing competing demands across a fast-moving business within the agricultural sector.

The role is based in St Neots, however there will be requirements to travel within the UK and overseas as per the needs of the Managing Director and leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support to the Managing Director and senior leadership team
  • Manage the Managing Directors inbox, respond to or delegate emails, and flag urgent matters.
  • Handle internal and external communications, including screening inquiries and complaints
  • Support budget planning, expense reconciliation, and other financial admin tasks
  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel logistics
  • Prepare reports, presentations, agendas, and minutes for meetings
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Track progress on key business initiatives and follow up on action items
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Support event and trade show preparation where required

Familiarity with rural/agricultural business culture would be an advantage along with experience working in a machinery dealership, distributor, or agri-business environment with an understanding of seasonal cycles and sector-specific challenges would be ideal but not essential.

If you have excellent organisational and time-management skills, strong communication skills and are confident working independently and making decisions, this could be the perfect role for you.
