Job Title: Executive Assistant

Job description: We are recruiting for a law firm in the Greater Manchester area that is looking for an Executive Assistant to support the Senior Leadership Team and Partners to ensure the smooth running of the business. This role is a 10 month fixed term contract (FTC)and is to start in the next 2-4 weeks.

The successful candidate will be providing a high-level of administrative, organisational,

and operational support. The role is varied and requires a proactive, organised, and

discreet individual who can manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

The day-to day duties are varied and will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Partners and Senior Leadership Team
  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and documents for the Senior Leadership Team and QBM (Quarterly Business Meetings)
  • Coordinate and follow up on action points from meetings.
  • Support with diary management, scheduling, correspondence, and meeting logistics
  • Complete HR and onboarding tasks, including maintaining absence records and support with wellbeing, disciplinary, and grievance matters
  • Handling compliance and regulation matters including assisting with Lexcel and other accreditations, maintaining registers and assisting with data protection and AML
  • Liaising with suppliers and contractors
  • Managing stationery, office equipment, and building access
  • Supporting the Accounts/Finance team with archiving and ad hoc tasks

Previous experience in a senior administration, Executive Assistant, or team assistant role (legal/professional services preferred), as well as the following:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills; able to prioritise and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office and HR/administration systems
  • Experience with HR processes, compliance, and facilities management is desirable

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
