Role:Executive Assistant
Site:The Christie Private Care, Manchester
Hours:Full time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Contract Type:Permanent
Salary:Competitive depending on experiencewith excellent benefits

We’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our Manchester Team based at The Christie Private Care rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

As a key member of the team the Executive Assistant (EA) will provide high-level administrative support to executives, ensuring the efficient operation of the office. The EA manages schedules, communications, and administrative tasks, enabling executives to focus on strategic activities.

This role requires a dynamic and self-motivated individual who can support executives efficiently and contribute to the overall success of the organisation. The role will be based primarily at The Christie Hospital, with the flexibility to work at our Wilmslow Hospital if required.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

Serve as the primary point of contact between executives and internal/external stakeholders.

Attend meetings and events outside of normal working hour.

Draft and proofread emails, memos, and other communications on behalf of executives.

Arrange and manage detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.

Plan and coordinate executive meetings, conferences, and events. Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

Arrange catering, venue bookings, and other logistical details.

Conduct research, compile data, and prepare reports for executive decision-making. Track project progress and ensure deadlines are met.

Maintain and organise the executive’s office environment, ensuring it is tidy and functional. Manage office supplies and equipment, coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.

Monitor and reconcile expense reports, budgets, and financial documents.

Handle invoicing, billing, and other financial transactions related to executive activities.

Troubleshoot basic technical issues and liaise with IT support as needed.

Previous experience as a PA in a commercial environment / Healthcare environment desirable
