We aim to elevate the standard of performance through collaboration and continuous growth, creating a space where everyone can contribute their best to our common goals.

We work together at our iconic Manchester United offices, enabling connection and innovation as we look ahead to what we can achieve as a global football club. We are excited to bring in passionate people who share our vision and drive for success.

Our Culture & Values

Here at Manchester United, we place great emphasis on a culture of connection, respect, and teamwork. We ask our colleagues to be champions of growth—constantly evolving, pushing boundaries, and collaborating across all areas of the business to keep us at the top of our game.

The Purpose:

We are looking for a passionate Executive Assistant to provide high level support to the Senior Executive Assistant and further assistance to their direct reports. Must be a confident gatekeeper who is professional, diligent, and dedicated in their approach to work. This role requires strong diary coordination, email management and effective day to day organisation including personal tasks.

The Role:
  • Provide seamless support to the Senior Executive Assistant, including cover during high-demand periods such as pre-season tours and holidays.
  • Coordinate complex international travel itineraries for both business and personal needs, including flights, visas, accommodations, and ground transport.
  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper, managing sensitive information with absolute discretion and professionalism.
  • Prioritise tasks and manage the executive’s schedule to ensure efficient use of time and smooth daily operations.
  • Liaise with Operations on high-end merchandise, gifting, and bespoke project coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile internal and external stakeholders, representing the club with polished professionalism.
  • Oversee general administration including expenses, purchase orders, and invoice tracking.
  • Handle personal and professional errands, both on-site and off-site, with flexibility and efficiency.
  • Coordinate luxury hospitality bookings, including fine dining, private travel, and exclusive accommodation.
  • Manage end-to-end visa processes for global travel, liaising with embassies and specialist agencies.
  • Uphold the highest standards of presentation and service, reflecting the brand and values of Manchester United.
  • Anticipate needs, resolve challenges proactively, and deliver to an exceptional standard under pressure.
  • Operate autonomously, owning responsibilities with minimal oversight while contributing to wider team initiatives.
  • Support discreet project delivery and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
The Person:
  • Proven experience supporting C-suite executives, ideally in a structured EA/PA capacity.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and logistical coordination skills.
  • High integrity and discretion with confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including note-taking and dictation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and able to perform well under pressure.
  • Skilled at managing workload independently while collaborating within a team.
  • Confident in professional interactions at all levels, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable improving processes and anticipating needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Hours of Work:

This role is based on a 40-hour work week. While we aim to plan working hours around the needs of the business, the nature of the role may occasionally require flexibility, including some non-standard hours. We appreciate adaptability and always strive to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
