EA to Founder Job Description

Marcilly Recruitment’s high-end Interior Design client is seeking a brilliant Executive Assistant to support their Founder. Based in their beautiful showroom in SW London, this role requires an experienced Executive Assistant with standout organisational and administration skills.

The successful candidate will have Executive Assistant experience in a similar company and a proven track record of success. The role offers great growth potential and as the Founder is often required to travel globally, the Executive Assistant must be able to act as their gatekeeper and quickly instil trust. As well as supporting the Founder with full Executive Assistant duties there will be additional operational support duties across the London office.

Salary: £55,000-£70,000 DOE

Hours:09:30 – 18:00 Monday to Friday – 2 days WFH

Location:SW London

Start date:ideally ASAP but happy to wait a notice period

Executive Assistant Responsibilities Include:

  • Directly supporting the Founder with full day-to-day administration
  • Coordinating complex calendar, travel and meetings. Their diary is back-to-back and constantly changing.
  • Acting as the central point between the London and Global offices
  • Managing and updating client databases
  • Creating and distributing marketing emails, social media posts and assisting with PR enquiries
  • Assisting with new product development projects, ensuring reminders are sent and timelines observed
  • Providing high level customer service and building client networks

Executive Assistant Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant is required
  • Excellent organisational skills- proactive, meticulous and able to operate in an organised and logical manner
  • An interest in design or interiors is desirable
  • Proficient and intuitive knowledge of computers, especially MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
  • A friendly, dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude and excellent eye for detail
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the company
  • Experience working in a small company is beneficial
  • Excellent command of English – both verbal and written
