Join one of the world’s most iconic brands and play a key role in supporting our Legal team across the UK and Ireland. McDonald’s is growing fast, and we’re looking for an Executive Assistant (Senior Legal Assistant) to provide high-level administrative and secretarial support to our VP General Counsel & Company Secretary and the wider Legal department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded in-house legal team. You’ll be at the heart of our legal operations, helping to manage everything from diary coordination and budget tracking to compliance filings and external legal communications.

Responsibilities
  • Manage diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and expenses for the VP and Legal team
  • Act as the first point of contact and central hub for the Legal department
  • Handle incoming legal correspondence including claims, DSARs, and court documentation
  • Oversee office management, onboarding/offboarding, and team event planning
  • Process invoices and track spend across multiple budgets, liaising with external law firms
  • Support annual budget compilation and spend control, including Marketing Co-operative allocations
  • Coordinate compliance filings and statutory record keeping for UK entities
  • Manage annual declarations and disclosures for Standards of Business Conduct and conflicts of interest
  • Liaise with external bodies such as the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Data Protection Commission
  • Arrange document certification via notaries and maintain legal subscriptions
  • Collaborate with the Executive Assistants’ Group and support SLT scheduling and compliance training
