Executive Assistant – London (Maternity Cover)

Our client, a fast-paced and forward-thinking organisation operating across multiple sectors, is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions on a global scale. With offices throughout the UK, they are seeking an Executive Assistant to join their London team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to work in a dynamic environment and support a senior leadership team.

Executive Assistant

Location: London, Hybrid – 12 Month FTC

As the Executive Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support several Board-level Executives, including the Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer, Finance and IT Director, and Director of Strategic Finance. You will be based in London and work closely with a supportive team of four Assistants, with colleagues split between London and another UK office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inbox management and prioritisation
  • Proactive diary management, liaising closely with other Assistants to coordinate a broad range of meetings
  • Preparation of meeting materials, briefing documents, and presentations
  • Ensuring thorough meeting preparation and tracking of follow-up actions
  • Coordinating complex travel arrangements and preparing detailed itineraries
  • Organising board meetings, including agendas, board packs, and logistics for board members
  • Supporting internal events coordination
  • Processing and managing executive expenses

This role is based in London, with occasional travel to other offices as required. All travel and related expenses will be covered.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as an Executive Assistant at a senior level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple demands effectively
  • Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration
  • Previous experience of line management
  • Experience within fast-paced industries such as technology, engineering, or consumer-focused sectors
  • Previous experience supporting multiple senior stakeholders
  • Previous involvement in planning and managing corporate events
