A local government authority in Edinburgh is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to senior leaders within the Place Directorate. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage competing priorities, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. This role offers a salary ranging from £33,287 to £39,129 for 18 hours per week, with options for flexible working.

Executive Services, within Customer and Digital Services, provides business services and administrative support to the Council's Corporate and Service Directors across all Council directorates. We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide high-level support services to senior leaders within the Place Directorate, as directed by the Senior Executive Assistant.
The Executive Assistant will not normally have direct line management responsibility. The post will not normally be responsible for non-staffing budgets. The post will have shared responsibility for the security and maintenance of council-wide information systems. Applicants should have knowledge and skills in a range of business support tasks equivalent to SVQ4 in business administration and experience of providing business support to senior leaders.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
