Overview

We draw on the resources of the Schroders group, and our own in‑house investment team. We are open to flexible working, so we can balance personal and professional commitments. To provide support to members of the Wealth Management Executive Team.

What you will do
  • Extensive diary management, ensuring prioritisation of key matters/priorities.
  • Anticipate requirements, proactively resolving problems with minimal supervision, and providing support for decision‑making processes.
  • Inbox management to highlight and escalated time‑critical messages, and assigning tasks to others where applicable.
  • Organise complex travel arrangements, create itineraries & process expense reports.
  • Organise business updates, off‑site meetings, and dinners as required.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation to an advanced level, and in line with Schroders practice.
  • Prepare agendas, take minutes and follow up on actions from leadership meetings.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, filtering communications as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Build relationships across different departments and at all levels of the organisation, as well as with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Work effectively, and in partnership, with other Executive Secretaries to ensure appropriate cover and good working relationships.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications
  • A‑C grade GCSE, or equivalent, in Mathematics and English.
  • Proven experience of working at an Executive level.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to understand the executive's business area, priorities, and how their work fits into broader organisational goals.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, adapting to a range of audiences.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work autonomously.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and assimilate information/instructions quickly.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care and professionalism.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience of minute taking.
  • Comfort in using industry‑standard office software, collaboration platforms, and adapting to new technologies.
