Overview

About the role: We are looking for an exceptional Group Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to our Senior Post Holders (Deputy CEO Academies, Deputy CEO Colleges, Group CFO) and wider Group Executive Team. This is a pivotal role, ensuring the smooth running of executive operations and contributing to the success of the organisation.

As Group Executive Assistant, you will:

  • Provide outstanding professional and personal administrative support, including diary and inbox management, handling correspondence and drafting high-quality reports and papers.
  • Coordinate and prepare papers for Boards and Committees, including monitoring risk registers and audit actions.
  • Arrange and support meetings, training sessions and events, taking accurate minutes and following up on agreed actions.
  • Act as a key point of contact, representing the Group Executive Team to staff, stakeholders and visitors in a professional and approachable way.
  • Review and improve systems and processes to ensure the Executive Team is supported with maximum efficiency.
  • Manage multiple priorities, often to tight deadlines, while handling highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Substantial experience in a senior administrative role, ideally including complex diary management, committee servicing and high-level correspondence.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Advanced IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint).
  • The ability to build strong professional relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  • A high level of discretion, professionalism and resilience.
