Job Description for Quantitative Trading Systems Developer

Overview:

Join one of the world’s largest hedge funds and become part of a prestigious technology team specializing in systematic trading. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a company currently investing heavily in engineering, working closely with trading and research teams to develop tools, platforms, and algorithms that support global trading operations.

The Role:

Responsibilities include building execution algorithms and trading platforms, developing tools for traders and monitoring systems, analyzing post-trade performance, and optimizing software across the trading lifecycle.

The company's systems mainly operate on Linux, with most code written in Java, complemented by Python and Typescript.

Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in quantitative financial markets. Experience with various asset classes is advantageous.

  • Strong database and SQL skills, preferably with Oracle and MongoDB
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in software engineering best practices, agile methodologies, and familiarity with Linux and Windows environments
  • Degree in a quantitative or computing field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics) from a top-tier university
  • Experience with FIX protocol is a plus
