We are looking for an experienced Executive Head Chef for a leading private school based in Hertfordshire. You will oversee a team of 8 chefs and demonstrate good leadership skills.

You will cater for around 900 people daily, so experience catering for large numbers is essential, whether in a school environment or within contract catering staff dining kitchens. An educational background is not essential, but experience in corporate catering would be beneficial.

This is a full-time contract working throughout the year with holidays aligned to educational schedules. Core hours are Monday to Friday during the day, with some flexibility for occasional evenings and weekends for functions and events.

Menus are changed each term, and you will be responsible for creating new menus and proposing ideas for client approval. Experience in menu writing, especially in an educational setting, is preferred.
