An established industry player is seeking a dedicated veterinarian ready to step into a leadership role. This exciting opportunity involves leading a small team while performing routine soft tissue surgeries and managing various operational aspects. The practice is well-equipped with modern technology, including Digital X-ray and ultrasound, and offers support for professional development, including funding for certificates. With a 4-day work week and generous holidays, this role provides a perfect balance of work and personal life. If you're looking to advance your career in a supportive environment, this position is ideal for you.
Our client is looking for an experienced vet, looking to lead a small team of vets and nurses. Successful candidates will be happy with most routine soft tissue surgeries, perhaps looking to start a certificate. They will also be ready to take on the next step in their career by stepping up to what will likely be their first leadership role.
Whilst candidates will be confident in their clinical work (which will take the vast amount of the week), there could be aspects of this role that candidates may be nervous about, such as staff scheduling, management, finance, health and safety, and customer service. There is lots of support available in these development areas. In addition to support in these new areas, vets will be encouraged to start certificates if they aren't already. Our client is happy to fund these.
The practice is a well-equipped, small animal, first opinion practice with Digital X-ray, ultrasound, etc. They also have an interest in dentistry, so have additional equipment in this area.
The rota is a 4-day week with 1:6 weekends.
