Job Overview:

As a Practice Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing services within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include:

• Managing chronic diseases
• Specialising in COPD or Diabetes (optional)
• Implementing infection prevention measures
• Taking blood samples
• Performing ECGs
• Wound management including leg ulcers
• Providing travel health advice and vaccinations
• Child immunisations and health advice
• Family planning and women's health, including cervical smears
• Health promotion through clinics (well women and men)
• Supporting clinical policy reviews

Experience Required:

• Primary care experience
• Practice or community nurse experience
• Registered with the NMC
