The Music Teacher department is at the heart of our curriculum offering students the chance to explore music theory performance and composition. We are looking for a passionate Music Teacher to join our team and inspire students at Key Stages 3 4 and 5.

The Role

We are seeking a Music Teacher who can bring creativity enthusiasm and expertise to the classroom. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a strong drive to develop or an experienced Music Teacher with KS5 teaching experience we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging Music Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with a focus on Key Stage 5 music to challenge and inspire students.
Developing and delivering a diverse and creative curriculum that includes performance composition music theory and history.
Offering expert guidance in individual and group performances helping students refine their vocal and instrumental skills.
Collaborating with the Music Teacher department to ensure the curriculum is dynamic inclusive and meets the needs of all students.
Supporting extracurricular music activities including concerts music clubs and school ensembles.
Providing constructive feedback to help students excel in both practical and theoretical aspects of music.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Music Teacher with:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Music or a related field.
For ECTs: A commitment to professional development and growth within a supportive team.
For Experienced Teachers: Proven experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with a track record of achieving strong student outcomes.
Strong knowledge of music theory performance composition and history.
A passion for inspiring students to engage with music both practically and theoretically.
Creativity in lesson planning and a strong ability to make music education enjoyable and challenging.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A willingness to contribute to extracurricular music activities.
