Role Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy treatments safely and effectively in line with protocols.

Monitor patients during and after treatment for adverse reactions or complications.

Work closely with oncology consultants and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Accurately document all care delivered and maintain up-to-date records.

Participate in planning and implementing individualised care plans.

Requirements:

NMC-registered nurse (Band 5 or 6).

Current and valid chemotherapy training certification (e.g., UKONS SACT Passport or equivalent).

Recent experience in an oncology or chemotherapy unit.

Strong clinical skills and sound knowledge of cancer treatment protocols.

Excellent communication, organisation, and team-working abilities.

Flexibility to work varying shift patterns.

Immediate availability or upcoming availability is highly desirable.
