Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity is available for a dedicated, full-time Small Animal Vet to join a skilled team in a beautiful part of the country. The practice is an RCVS-accredited mixed practice situated in the historic market town of Helston, providing outstanding care to the animals of Cornwall since the 1870s. The practice has greatly expanded over the years and continues to thrive.

Full-time hours with a 4-day week, allowing for more personal time.

1:4 Saturday mornings.

No out-of-hours (OOH) work, promoting a better work-life balance.

Opportunity to work with the nearby Cornish Seal Sanctuary, ideal for those with an interest in marine life.

A healthy Continuing Professional Development (CPD) budget and encouragement for further development.

Located just off the A394, the practice is easily accessible for commuters, with regular bus services to major towns and cities in Cornwall.

The Team:

The team consists of 4 vets, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), and 2 Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs). The team is a vibrant group of like-minded individuals with a shared passion for caring for animals. When not busy at work, team members enjoy activities such as baking, walking, crafting, and exploring the Cornish coast.

Salary and Rewards:

The annual salary ranges from£40,000 £60,000p/a depending on experience and skills. The practice also offers an extensive range of benefits, including:
