Job Description:

A caring and inclusive primary school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time basis until July. The Role:
  • Offering 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs, ensuring their engagement and progress.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans and provide tailored interventions.
  • Assisting with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, helping students develop confidence and resilience.
  • Creating a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages inclusion and active participation for all students.
  • Monitoring student progress, providing feedback, and working closely with staff to adjust support where needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable.
  • A solid understanding of SEN strategies and approaches, with the ability to implement them effectively in the classroom.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both students and staff.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s individual learning needs.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, with a desire to make a positive impact in the classroom.
