Job Description:

A well-established and friendly GP practice based in Gosport is expanding its nursing team and is currently seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join on a part-time basis (16 hours per week) offering up to £12.47 per hour depending on experience. The practice was recently rated Good across all areas by the CQC and prides itself on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will have previous phlebotomy experience and must have completed a recognised phlebotomy training course. The role will involve working 8 hours per day on Mondays and Fridays, supporting the clinical team in providing safe and efficient blood collection services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out phlebotomy procedures with care and professionalism.
  • Ensuring correct patient identification and accurate labelling of samples.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate patient records.
  • Adhering to infection control and clinical governance standards.
  • Five weeks of annual leave (pro rata).
  • Up to £12.47 per hour DOE.
  • Access to the NHS Pension Scheme.
