An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and supportive team based in an RCVS-accredited hospital in Aylesbury.

  • The ideal candidate will be confident and experienced in managing complex medical cases.
  • This role is suitable for an ECC, medicine, or perhaps an imaging certificate holder.
  • Both full-time and part-time applications will be considered.

About the Hospital:

The hospital is the hub of the practice, equipped with a full range of diagnostic and surgical equipment, enabling the team to work to the highest standards. The hospital serves a well-insured and motivated client base from the town and surrounding villages. Hospitalised patients are managed to a high level with the support of a dedicated team of RVNs. The care doesn't stop at the end of the workday, as the hospital provides round-the-clock emergency and intensive care for patients, supported by Night Vets and RVNs.

The Team:

The hospital boasts a diverse and friendly team with a variety of clinical interests. The team consists of 13 Day Vets, 3 Night Vets, 18 Day Nurses, 3 Night Nurses, 3 Kennel Assistants, 2 Lab Techs, and supportive colleagues, all dedicated to delivering outstanding care. The hospital cultivates a progressive and supportive attitude towards the health and well-being of its staff, ensuring job satisfaction while protecting personal life.

Location:

Aylesbury is a bustling market town located in Buckinghamshire, South East England. It is home to many great attractions and is a great base for exploring the scenic Chiltern Hills. It also has good travel links, with London under 50 miles away by road and under an hour by train.
