Position Overview:

Our client in Hatfield is seeking a personable Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and busy team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent patient care and confident in routine surgery and medicine. The practice also welcomes Vets who consult only, with a wealth of experience and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. This is a full-time or part-time position working up to 40 hours per week, which will include Saturdays on a 1:3 rota basis (9 am-12:30 pm).
  2. The practice is flexible and open to considering alternative hours and working patterns.
  3. There is no OOH's responsibility with this role, but there will be an element of sole charge with support from the nursing team.

You will be joining a supportive team with a loyal client base and excellent local reputation. You will be passionate about providing excellent patient care, confident with routine surgery and medicine, and comfortable with small furies. You will recognize the importance of building strong, trusted relationships with patients and clients and enjoy working as part of a supportive team.

About the Practice:

The practice is situated inside a busy Pets at Home Store and is purpose-built to industry-leading standards. It offers digital X-ray, a bright and spacious prep area, an ultrasound machine, a dedicated theatre, an in-house lab, separate dog, cat, and isolation wards, and three consult rooms. The team includes 2 Vets, 3 Nurses, an SVN, and support colleagues, all sharing a goal of providing high-quality healthcare. Located with free onsite parking and easy access to Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City, with the scenic Stanborough Lake nearby.
