This DEMAND PLANNER role is based in HARLOW in Essex and the company is a global food and ingredients business. You will be given full training in this position and there are opportunities to grow in the role and in the business. The team is small and friendly too! This is a nice role, with genuine opportunities to move on within the business once you have "learned the ropes". It also helps if you love food and cooking.


TITLE: EXCEL EXPERT and Demand Planner
Department: Logistics and shipping
Location: Harlow, Essex
Salary: £30,000 + benefits
Work style: Office based role
Required: English (Hindi or Mandarin are useful, but not essential)
Car Parking: Free and available on site
Essential skills: Advanced Excel (VLookup and formulae) and Ms Outlook

Job Summary:
Busy role! You will be working in the shipping team which looks after the delivery of goods to supermarket and restaurant clients all over the world. In this role you will do the order processing, chase up deliveries with the warehouse, deal with customer issues over the phone and via email, and generally give first-class customer service to customers who have purchased cooking ingredients. The role is fast-paced and rewarding, and you will be given full training.
Duties:
  1. Sales support administration:
  • Answer customer enquiries about products and send out samples.
  • Update customer information in the database.
  • Provide information to customers about the status of their orders and deliveries.
  • Organise deliveries and transportation of products.
  • Use Excel daily to track shipments.
  1. Sales Admin/order Management:
  • Use Vlookup and other demand planning tools on Excel.
  • Take and process orders in an accurate manner.
  • Prepare delivery documents and issue invoices to customers.
  • Keep track of orders to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Excel (including VLookup).
  • Some previous admin experience (ideally demand planning).
