Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for the Preston project. Operate excavators safely, perform pre-start checks and maintenance, and follow lifting plans and site procedures.

You will work with supervisors, travel to Preston, hold CPCS Excavator Above and Below 10 Tonnes, and ensure health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience operating excavators on construction or civil engineering projects.
• CPCS Excavator Above and Below 10 Tonnes.
• CPCS Lifting Operations endorsement.
• Good understanding of safe digging practices and service avoidance.
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Duties

• Operate excavators safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements.

• Valid CPCS Card for Excavator Above and Below 10 Tonnes.
• CPCS Lifting Operations endorsement.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Previous construction site experience.
• Ability to travel to the Preston project location.
