Our Operations team has a fantastic opportunity for a Site Agent to join them in Preston.

Our role

We’re looking for an exceptional person to join the South Operations Team, to supervise excavation teams working to deliver connections for our customers at Domestic Properties.

Day to day you will:

• Lead a team of up to 20 colleagues;
• Be responsible for all aspects of Safety, Health and Environment relevant to this role;
• Perform risk assessments and maintain safe working practices;
• Perform pre-site checks to ensure that a design is achievable, deliverable to the customer’s standards and within ENW Standards & Procedures;
• Manage safety and performance, maximising our productivity whilst ensuring we maintain the highest standards in Health & Safety;
• Perform regular site audits and toolbox talks;
• Seek to exceed our customer’s expectations but when necessary, take ownership of customer complaints to their resolution;
• Ensure quality of works meets with current procedures;
• Ensure works are carried out to meet guaranteed service standards;
• Be prepared to undertake other reasonable tasks following the requirements of the Company.

What we’re looking for

• Experience working on the electricity network;
• NRSWA Units 001-009;
• Full UK Driving Licence;
• Experience of supervising Excavation Teams;
• Experience of pre-siting schemes of work;
• A proven track record of delivering exceptional Customer Service;
• CSCS Operatives card;
• Emergency First Aid;
• IT Literacy.
