International Exams Support Officer

Joining the Customer & Sales Team as an Exams Officer Support Adviser, you will play a key role in ensuring we provide Exams Officers with a high-quality service that sets us apart as an organisation. You will be part of the International Delivery Group (IDG), a cross-functional and cross-organisational team responsible for all aspects of series delivery for OxfordAQA. Working collaboratively, you will help ensure communications and website information are accurate, useful and timely while supporting the resolution of queries. Additionally, you will support the international and regional teams in building positive relationships with Exams Officers in schools, empowering them to become advocates for OxfordAQA.

As one of the six Exams Officer Support Advisers, you will be supporting international and regional teams from our Manchester office. Availability is required during the exam series, including early mornings (from 7 am) during results weeks. Some occasional international travel may be required as part of the role.

What do I need to be successful?

  • Experience working with centres delivering general qualification exam series (e.g., high schools or colleges), ideally as an Exams Officer.
  • A customer-first mindset with a commitment to putting customers at the heart of decision-making.
  • Delivery-focused, with a logical approach to problem-solving and prioritisation.
  • Knowledge of business process and organisational change methodologies, with a track record in implementing and embedding change.
  • Excellent relationship management skills to effectively manage stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Expertise in using Management Information (MI) to provide data insights and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience working closely with regulatory organisations.
  • A current, up-to-date DBS certificate or willingness to undergo a DBS check upon appointment.
