Job summary

Outwood Academy Kirkby in Nottingham seeks an Exams and Assessment Officer to manage all administrative and operational aspects of examinations in line with JCQ regulations. You will oversee MIS entries, liaise with boards, schedule invigilation, train invigilators, and secure distribution of papers and results.

You will coordinate the student census, use Praising Stars for pupil tracking, analyse assessment data, and prepare reports for managers and SLT.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline is essential.
• Experience with statistical analysis, MIS, and data collection.
• Ability to communicate effectively and use ICT packages, especially Excel.
• Experience with educational MIS systems like SIMS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage MIS for entries and liaise with boards.
• Oversee invigilation timetabling and train invigilators.
• Manage security and distribution of examination papers and results.
• Coordinate student census and use Praising Stars for pupil tracking.
• Analyse assessment data and produce reports for managers and SLT.
• Provide parents with student assessment data.
