Job summary

Suffolk New College in Ipswich is seeking an Exams Access Arrangements Assessor to join our on-site assessment team. This permanent, full-time role involves identifying barriers to learning and applying JCQ guidance to ensure appropriate exam arrangements for learners with identified needs.

You must hold CPT3A CCET + AAC or SpLD Assessment Practising Certificate Level 7 and be able to work across sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Hold CPT3A CCET + AAC or SpLD Assessment Practising Certificate Level 7.
  • Qualified exams access arrangements assessor with current specialist qualification.

Responsibilities

  • You will be joining a dedicated team who ensure exam arrangements are in place for learners with identified additional learning needs to enable maximum potential.
  • Share your knowledge of JCQ regulations with the curriculum team to support early identification of needs through the internal referral process and provide feedback after assessment.
  • Assist with the Lead Exams Access Arrangements Assessor role if interested, including the annual allowance provision.

SpLD Assessment Practising Certificate equivalent to Level 7

Suffolk New College are seeking an Exams Access Arrangements Assessor (on-site).

We are looking to expand our assessment team and we can be flexible in what we can offer.

We are looking for qualified exams access arrangements assessors to join our additional learning support assessment team. If you hold a current specialist qualification in assessing for access arrangements, we would love to hear from you!

Your responsibilities

You will be joining a dedicated team who work together to ensure that exam arrangements are in place for all learners with identified additional learning needs to enable them maximum opportunity to meet their full potential.

You will be sharing your knowledge of the JCQ regulations and guidance with the curriculum team to support with the early identification of needs through the completion of our internal referral process and providing feedback following assessment.

Additional Opportunity: Lead Exams Access Arrangements Assessor

What you will need

This post will be based predominantly at our Ipswich campus but you would be expected to work across sites on occasion.
