An established industry player is seeking GCSE Religious Studies Examiners to mark candidates' responses according to a pre-defined mark scheme. This role offers the flexibility of marking from home using ePEN, particularly appealing for those with a strong background in various religions, including Hinduism, Judaism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Islam. Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a high level of subject knowledge, teaching experience, and the ability to work under pressure while adhering to strict deadlines. The marking period runs from May to July, with training provided in May and June, making it an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking to contribute their expertise in a meaningful way.
A GCSE Religious Studies B (2016 Specification) Examiner marks candidates' responses in accordance with the pre-defined mark scheme, whilst adhering to conditions of recognition and examination procedures. Most subjects will be marked onscreen using ePEN, which can be done from home. A few subjects are still marked in the traditional method, using paper scripts sent through the post. A high level of subject knowledge is necessary in order to apply the mark scheme. Each examiner will receive an agreed allocation of scripts.
