Job description

A GCE Physics (New Specification) Examiner marks candidates' responses according to the pre-defined mark scheme, while adhering to recognition conditions and examination procedures. Most subjects are marked onscreen using ePEN, which can be done remotely. A few subjects are still marked traditionally with paper scripts sent by post. A high level of subject knowledge is necessary to accurately apply the mark scheme. Each examiner receives an allocated number of scripts.

• Complete all required administration

Experience and Qualifications Needed
