Job summary

Alleyn's School in Dulwich, South London, seeks an Examinations Officer to cover a fixed-term period from September to 16 December 2026. You will manage the efficient administration of public examinations, mocks, internal assessments and university entrance exams.

As part of the HR team, the role requires safeguarding awareness and the ability to liaise with staff and students. Application deadline is midnight Monday 14 September 2026. DBS checks will be required.

• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Good communication with staff and students.

• Administer the school’s public examinations (GCSE and A Level) and associated mock examinations and internal assessments.
• Coordinate arrangements for university entrance examinations.
• Provide cover and support for examination administration during the fixed-term period.

Job description

Alleyn's School based in Dulwich, South London, are seeking an Examinations Officer to provide cover over a fixed term period from September, initially to the end of the Advent Term (16 December 2026).

The successful candidate would be responsible for the efficient and effective administration of the school’s public examinations, including GCSE and A Level, and associated mock examinations and various internal assessments, as well as university entrance examinations.
