Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking an experienced Examinations Manager to lead the operational delivery of our examinations service across the College, based at Loughborough College. You will oversee the full examination lifecycle, ensuring compliance and an outstanding service for learners.

Reporting to the Senior Exam Manager, you will lead the Exams team and invigilators, driving continuous improvement and strong partnerships with Awarding Organisations to support student success.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing examinations within an FE, HE or school environment.
• Excellent knowledge of JCQ regulations and Awarding Organisation requirements.
• Proven leadership and people management experience.
• Outstanding organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for delivering an exceptional service that supports student success.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a dedicated Exams team and a large team of invigilators.
• Manage the planning and delivery of all internal and external examinations.
• Ensure full compliance with JCQ and Awarding Organisation regulations.
• Build strong relationships with Awarding Organisations and College stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and operational excellence across the examinations service.
