University of Edinburgh invites applications for Examinations Invigilators to support in-person examination services. You will work under the guidance of the Senior Invigilator, ensuring smooth and secure examination delivery across several diet periods throughout the year.

Ideal applicants will have teamwork experience, effective communication with students and staff, and a strong commitment to customer service, procedures, and administration.

Qualifications

• Experience of working within a team environment.
• Able to communicate effectively and professionally with other invigilators and students.
• Good customer service experience is required, to assist in dealing with students and staff.
• Experience of working within guidelines and following procedures.
• Demonstrate good organisational and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the designated Senior Invigilator and contribute to the smooth running of examinations.
• Work as part of a team to manage examination sessions.
• Communicate clearly with students and fellow invigilators during exams.
• Follow established guidelines and procedures to ensure exam integrity.
• Demonstrate strong organisational and administrative skills in scheduling and logistics.
