Salary: £34,416 - £35,448 per annum (LOX Grade 6, SCP 18-20 - Outer London)
Contract Type: Support Staff (Permanent) | Full-Time
Hours: 36 hours per week (08:30-16:30), 52.14 weeks per year

Our client, a high-achieving coeducational secondary school based in Upminster, is seeking an experienced and ambitious Examinations and Data Officer to lead and manage the school's examinations processes and support data systems. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the successful delivery of academic achievement and progress tracking in a supportive, forward-thinking school.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of examination management, from liaising with exam boards to organising exam timetables, invigilation teams, and secure data handling. You will also support the Senior Leadership Team by ensuring accurate, timely, and effective use of assessment and performance data to inform school improvement.
Lead and coordinate all internal and external examinations
Ensure compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations
Manage exam entries, seating plans, invigilation rotas, and results days
Maintain and analyse student assessment data using MIS systems
Produce reports for SLT, governors, and external stakeholders
Work closely with curriculum leaders and administrative teams
Experience managing examinations and/or data systems in an educational setting
Strong working knowledge of SIMS or similar school MIS systems
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work to tight deadlines under pressure
