Are you passionate about helping students reach their full potential? We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Exam Skills Tutor to support students in developing effective revision techniques, time management strategies, and exam confidence.

As an Exam Skills Tutor, you will work with students of various ages and abilities, providing tailored support to enhance their study habits and exam performance. Your role will include:

  • Teaching effective revision and memory techniques
  • Boosting exam confidence and reducing anxiety
  • Offering guidance on past papers and exam strategies
  • Location: Southwark
  • Hours: up to 25 hours per week
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Duration: ongoing until a school placement is found
  • Contract Type: Temporary/part-time
  • Pay rate: from £25 per hour

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Tutor:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Possess UK classroom teaching experience and experience delivering tailored lesson plans
  • Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
  • Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils

To be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor must:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child-related references.
