Seeking highly reliable and detail-oriented individuals for seasonal work during key exam periods in Greater Manchester.

Are you looking for flexible, paid work that makes a vital contribution to student success? We are urgently recruiting professional Exam Invigilators and Exam Support Staff (Readers/Scribes) to uphold the integrity and smooth running of public and internal examinations across Secondary Schools and Academies.

The Critical Role: Ensuring Fair & Smooth Exams

As an Exam Invigilator, you will be responsible for strictly supervising students during examinations to ensure all rules and regulations are adhered to. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Vigilance & Supervision: Actively monitoring candidates during the examination period, maintaining a silent and focused atmosphere.
  • Administration: Preparing exam rooms according to regulations, distributing and collecting papers, and checking candidate attendance.
  • Instruction: Clearly reading out and clarifying standard examination instructions to students.
  • Integrity: Reporting any irregularities or suspected malpractice immediately to the Examinations Officer.
  • Support (for Readers/Scribes): Providing one-to-one assistance to students with access arrangements, reading questions, or accurately recording dictated answers (training provided).
Contract & Benefits: Flexible Sessional Work

This role is primarily offered on a Temporary, Sessional, or Part-Time basis, making it ideal for those seeking flexible hours, return-to-work opportunities, or supplementing existing income.
