Job summary

Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School in Wednesbury is seeking exam invigilators to support the current team during internal and external exams, with potential 1:1 student support as needed.

You should be reliable and flexible, especially during October to June, a team player, and confident in managing nervous students in the exam hall. This casual role is paid at £12.85 per hour.

• Reliable and flexible during exam periods (Oct–Jun), with advance notice for unavailability.
• Team player.
• Confident and reassuring for students entering the exam hall.
• Able to give and follow instructions.
• Comfortable working with young people in exam halls and in 1:1 support scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Supervise exams to uphold conduct and fairness.
• Provide 1:1 support for students during exams when needed.
• Assist exam team with standard procedures and coverage.

Job description

We are looking to appoint exam invigilators to support the current team in upholding high standards of conduct and supervision during internal and external exams. The role may also broaden to 1:1 support for students in exams should the applicants be suitable

You will need to be;

• Reliable and flexible particularly around periods of exams from October to June, giving plenty of notice to times that you are not available
• A team player
• Confident and reassuring for students going into the exam hall
• Able to give and follow instructions
• Confident in working with young people in exam halls and also in possible 1:1 scenarios where support is needed to access the exam paper

You will be employed on a casual basis on £12.85 per hour
