Job summary

Priestnall School seeks Exam Invigilators to join a team across the academic year, on a casual basis. Invigilators oversee examinations, ensuring guidelines and procedures are followed during sessions and assisting with room setup and candidate support during exams.

Training will be provided. All Invigilators must sign up for the DBS update service; closing date is 30 April 2026. Interviews may be held before the closing date.

• Be aware of any needs that candidates may have during an examination.

Job description

We seek to appoint a number of Exam Invigilators to work as part of a team throughout the academic year, on a casual basis. Our Exam Invigilators are responsible for overseeing and supervising examinations and ensuring that guidelines, regulations and procedures are followed during examination sessions. The main external examinations period takes places during May and June with occasional exams scheduled at various times in the Autumn and Spring terms. Training will be provided.

Please be advised that all Exam Invigilators supporting the Laurus Trust must sign up for the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) update service, which has an annual fee, payable by the individual. For more information, kindly visit the government website.
