Job summary

Red Star Pathways in East London is seeking reliable Exam Invigilators to join our team during busy examination periods. You will help ensure examinations are conducted fairly, securely and in line with regulations.

You should be punctual, highly observant and able to remain calm while supervising groups of students. We offer flexible, session-based work with full training and ongoing guidance, a supportive educational environment and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Highly observant with excellent attention to detail.
• Calm and confident when supervising groups of students.
• Able to follow instructions and examination procedures accurately.
• Flexible and available during busy examination periods.
• Able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous invigilator experience is desirable but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up examination rooms before exams.
• Check candidates' identities and seating.
• Distribute and collect examination papers and materials.
• Supervise candidates throughout examinations.
• Enforce examination rules and regulations.
• Monitor candidates and report irregularities to Lead Invigilator or Exams Officer.
• Maintain a quiet, professional examination environment.
• Complete examination-related paperwork accurately.
• Handle examination papers and confidential materials securely.
