Job summary

Chertsey High School, part of Bourne Education Trust, is seeking an Exam Invigilator to join our team. This casual, zero-hours role supports examination venues, chairs and supervises candidates, and ensures adherence to procedures during assessments.

The successful candidate will have safeguarding awareness, GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent), and the ability to guide and assist students before and during exams. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Awareness, understanding and commitment to safeguarding pupils.
• GCSE level qualifications including Mathematics and English or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up examination venues with stationery, equipment and papers following procedures.
• Direct candidates to seats and advise on possessions permitted in examination venues.
• Offer guidance to unregistered candidates without allocated seats.
