Queen Mary’s Grammar School in Walsall seeks an Exams Invigilator to ensure the integrity and smooth running of public and internal examinations. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and calmness under pressure in a busy exam environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior invigilation experience in a school context and a flexible, reliable approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in an invigilation role within a school context.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Exam Invigilator regulations is advantageous; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Invigilating public examinations in accordance with examining bodies' regulations.
• Supervising candidates before/after assessments and during resits.
• Invigilating internal exams and familiarising candidates with their roles.
• Invigilating the school's entrance examination.
• Checking registers against scripts and packing them at the end of exams.
• Participating in training and other learning activities as required.
• Carrying out additional duties as requested by the Headmaster or SLT.
