Job summary

Astrea Academy Sheffield is seeking to expand our team of Examination Invigilators to supervise students during mock and external examinations throughout the academic year. This casual role offers flexibility to fit around your availability during exam periods and full training will be provided.

As an Exam Invigilator you will support the Examinations Officer, collect and return papers, start and finish examinations in line with JCQ regulations, and maintain a calm, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential; full training provided.
• Excellent communicators with strong interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and professional.

This is a casual role, offering flexibility to fit around your availability during exam periods. Full training will be provided, and schedules will be agreed in advance. As an Exam Invigilator, you will:

• Support the Examinations Officer in the smooth running of exams.

• Maintain a calm, secure and compliant exam environment.

• Physically able to patrol exam rooms and stand for extended periods.

Experience is not essential as training will be provided. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working with young people in a busy, purposeful environment.
