Job summary

Twickenham School, part of Bourne Education Trust, is seeking an Exam Invigilator to provide invigilation support for the examination process and to assist the Examination Officer with daily set up and supervision of exams. This role is zero hours, casual, with start date ASAP.

Salary is £12.71 per hour plus 12.07% holiday pay, plus benefits including training, wellbeing support, and free on-site parking. You will help maintain a calm, fair examination environment and ensure safeguarding

Responsibilities

• Set up examination venues with stationery, equipment and papers per procedures.

Job description

We are seeking an Exam Invigilator to join our team at Twickenham School, part of Bourne Education Trust.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will provide invigilation support for the examination process and support the Examination Officer with the day to day set up and invigilation of exams.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Assisting with setting up examination venues by laying out stationery, equipment and examination papers in accordance with strict procedures
• Assisting candidates prior to the start of examinations by directing them to their seats and advising them about possessions permitted in examination venues
• Offering advice and guidance to unregistered candidates without allocated seats

Essential

Requirements include

• Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of pupils
• Educated to GCSE Standard including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications
• Proven track record of continuous professional development
