The Nicholas Hamond Academy invites applications for an invigilator role. You will uphold the integrity of the examination and assessment process while supporting candidates under supervision. Training will be provided, no prior invigilation experience required.
The position offers flexible working arrangements and an hourly rate of £12.85 plus £1.55 per hour holiday pay, subject to pay award. The academy seeks a dedicated team member committed to high standards.
The department is part of a well led, dynamic team, whose colleagues all enjoy supporting the Academy and its culture of outstanding success amongst our students. The appointed candidate will have a key role in upholding the integrity and security of the examination / assessment process., The successful applicant will undertake an enhanced DBS criminal record check, and online searches will be carried out in line with KCSIE update 2026. The ideal candidate will have a good basic education including GCSE level C/4+ in English and Maths. Experience of invigilation is not required as training in the role and duties of an invigilator will be provided.
