Job summary

Royal Wootton Bassett Academy, part of Ascend Learning Trust, is seeking an Exam Invigilator to supervise examination candidates, distribute and collate papers, and assist students requiring access arrangements. The role offers a supportive team and flexible working patterns.

We value a positive, proactive approach, reliability, and the ability to work independently as well as within the invigilator team. Prior invigilator experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar invigilator/exams role is desirable.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students under exam conditions to ensure a fair and safe environment.
• Distribute and collect exam papers and stationery as required.
• Provide support for students requiring access arrangements (reading and/or writing).
• Maintain a calm, quiet examination room and monitor candidate behaviour.

You will need a positive and proactive approach to work, to join our friendly team here at Royal Wootton Bassett Academy., The successful candidate will have current or previous experience in a similar role and be able to use their initiative to work independently, as well as part of the wider invigilator team.
