Job summary

West Somerset College in Minehead is seeking a casual invigilation post within the examinations team. Start as soon as possible, focusing on preparing exam rooms, supervising candidates and handling papers in line with JCQ regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare examination venues and equipment in line with regulations.
• Supervise students before, during and after examinations.

• Give clear instructions and support to candidates throughout the examination.
• Collect and return examination papers and scripts accurately.
• Report irregularities, concerns or incidents to the Exams Officer.
• Support invigilation of smaller groups, including students with access arrangements where appropriate.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, equality, diversity and inclusion standards at all times.
