Job summary

E-ACT Ousedale School in Milton Keynes is seeking reliable Exam Invigilators to support exam timetables. You will supervise students, ensure exam regulations are followed, and provide a calm, fair environment.

Casual/zero-hour contract with flexible hours between 8:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday during exam periods. Prior ICT familiarity with Word and Excel is welcomed; training will be provided.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalent.
  • Willingness to participate in training and development opportunities.
  • Experience of using ICT packages i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • To invigilate examinations following a documented process, procedures and regulations to ensure examinations run in a secure confidential and suitable environment.
  • To ensure both students and the Academy comply with regulations.
  • To assist students entering the examination room.
  • To record attendance/absence from the examination by completing the examination registers.

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Exam Invigilators to join our team on a casual basis. The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, the ability to follow and uphold examination regulations, and the confidence to use their own initiative when required.

There are no fixed contracted hours for this role. Working hours and days will vary depending on the Academy’s examination timetable. Candidates may be required to be available between 8:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:
  • To invigilate examinations following a documented process, procedures and regulations to ensure examinations run in a secure confidential and suitable environment.
  • To ensure both students and the Academy comply with regulations.
  • To assist students entering the examination room.
  • To record attendance/absence from the examination by completing the examination registers.

Pay Range: SCP 4 - £13.05 per hour

Zero hour, Casual Contract.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • GCSE Maths and English minimum grade 4 or equivalent.
  • Willingness to participate in relevant training and development opportunities.
  • Experience of using ICT packages I.E Microsoft Word, and Excel.
